Q: How many shows do you do?

A: The annual Christmas Show takes place the second or third weekend in December and, the Dance Recital will take place every year during the first weekend of June. Both shows are completely optional. All students are asked to participate because it is a wonderful and exciting time to show off all their hard work.

Q: How do I get a class time that works for my schedule?

A: On our registration forms we ask that you list dates and times of other activities your child is involved with, this allows us to work hard to accomodate your schedule.

Q: Are classes by semester or do they go by school calendar?

A: Our classes follow the standard school calendar

Q: Is your program age appropriate?

A: Yes, all music, costumes and dance moves are age appropriate.

Q: Do you compete?

A: No

Q: Do you do parades?

A: No, we use other opportunities for our dancers to gain experieince performing.

Q: What are intensives?

A: 50 minutes of focus on one particular type of dance, they include Pre Hop, Hip Hop, Ballet, Pre Pointe 1, Pre Pointe 2, Pointe

Q: What do the costume fees include?

A: The costume fees include two to three costumes depending on the age of the child, a pair of tights, facility fee, annual t-shirt, and two tickets for the child’s parents

Q: If I am a returning student do I have to pay the registration fee again?

A: No, we have a one time registration fee that is due the first time you sign up with our studio

Q: Do you give trophies?

A: Yes, we give a trophy for those students who have been with our studio for 3 years, and then again at the 5 year mark. However, all of our dancers who participate in June recital receive a medal at the end of the show.

Q: Why take an intensive class?

A:To gain a deeper understanding and learn more technique of a particular dance. Whenever you take an intensive class all of your other classes, like combo, benefit from the added emphasis you are learning.

Q: Why take a combo class?

A: To learn and enjoy a variety of dances. A combo class works to make you a well rounded dancer.

Q: Which classes do recital?

A: All classes have the option to participate in our Christmas Show and our June Recital

Q: Why take dance classes?

A: Dance is a unique art form, that teaches discipline, instills passion, and provides structure for all ages in a fun and warm environment.
